Job Overview

Our company is seeking a skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the quality assurance team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and related frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, Develop, and Maintain Automated Test Suites: Create and implement automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and related frameworks to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Contribute to Mobile Automation: Collaborate with the cross-functional team to contribute to mobile automation with Appium and web automation with Playwright.
  • Perform API Testing: Use Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools to perform API testing and ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with QA, Dev, and Product teams to define testing strategies and ensure product quality.
  • Integrate Automation Suites into CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate automation suites into Jenkins, GitLab CI, or other CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment.
  • Report and Track Defects: Report and track defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution with development teams.
  • Enhance Frameworks: Continuously enhance frameworks for reusability, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements

  • 5-7 Years of Experience in Test Automation: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in test automation, preferably with expertise in Selenium WebDriver.
  • Strong Expertise in Selenium WebDriver: Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Hands-on Experience in API Testing: Hands-on experience in API testing (REST, SOAP).
  • Familiarity with Appium and Playwright: Familiarity with Appium (mobile automation) and Playwright (modern web automation) is a plus.
  • Knowledge on TypeScript and WebDriver.IO: Knowledge on TypeScript and WebDriver.IO.
  • Experience with Version Control and CI/CD Tools: Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Good Understanding of Agile/Scrum Methodologies: Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong Analytical, Debugging, and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
