We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Deputy General Manager Finishing. This position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finishing department, ensuring high-quality output and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the bleaching, dyeing, printing, washing, and other finishing processes in the finishing department.
  • Ensure timely completion of production schedules and adherence to customer delivery commitments.
  • Monitor machine utilization, efficiency, and workflow to optimize capacity and reduce waste.
  • Oversee quality control processes to guarantee fabrics meet required customer specifications and international standards.
  • Implement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and waste.
  • Introduce best practices for process consistency and product reliability.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement through lean manufacturing practices and innovation.
  • Promote sustainability by introducing new finishing techniques and technologies.
  • Collaborate with research and development teams on process development and new product trials.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Ensure standards align with customer audits, certifications, and sustainability requirements.
  • Enforce strict adherence to EHS guidelines within the finishing operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Production Management or related field.
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in fabric finishing, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role in a reputable fabric/textile mill.
