A Fabricating Machine Operator is a skilled professional responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used to cut, bend, shape, and form metal and other materials.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate fabricating machines to produce components and products.
  • Select, load, and secure materials onto machines.
  • onitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure product quality and efficiency.
  • Perform routine quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose minor equipment malfunctions and perform basic maintenance and cleaning.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Fabricating Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
  • Proficiency in operating one or more types of fabricating machinery (e.g., press brakes, shears, punches, saws).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to perform measurements.

Salary is based on a experience of work.
