Job Title: Investment Opportunities Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Investment Opportunities Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating early-stage startups emerging from India's top research institutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of finance, financial modeling, and valuation techniques. Experience in the DeepTech sector is highly desirable.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Sourcing and Research:
      • Identify and engage with high-growth startups across various industries
      • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including venture capitalists, angel investors, and industry experts
      • Conduct market analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities
    • Due Diligence:
      • Evaluate the technical feasibility, commercial viability, and scalability of startup ventures
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess market risks and opportunities
      • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and investment committees
    • Fund Operations:
      • Support investment documentation, compliance, and reporting
      • Maintain accurate databases and records of investment activities
      • Prepare pitch materials and present to potential investors and partners
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Master's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or venture capital
    • Proven track record of success in identifying and closing deals
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
