Job Title:

Inventory Management Specialist

As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting banking device procurement, import and inventory management. This includes evaluating product options from various vendors and assessing industry trends to determine pricing.

  • Evaluate product options from various vendors and assess industry trends to determine pricing.
  • Finalize vendor and cost through RFP process based on user requirements and techno-commercial evaluation.
  • Manage end-to-end activities related to warehousing and inventory control for all banking products/devices.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to understand user requirements and manage sufficient inventories accordingly.
  • Review existing contracts and maintain a tracker/repository.
  • Negotiate cost savings with vendors/partners.
  • Handle imports shipments and coordinate with foreign partners/customs department.
  • Engage with users to resolve pain points related to purchase, warehousing and import.
  • Ensure timely delivery of ordered products/services and collect inventory reports daily.
  • Prepare and publish inventory reports daily and assist in data analysis for monthly procurement reports.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.

Requirements:

  • At least 10-12 years of experience in sourcing, import and warehousing/inventory control management.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and governance.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing procurement data.

Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent qualifications.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a high-paced dynamic environment and prioritize workload to meet scheduling demands and timelines.
