At ScaleneWorks, we are seeking a skilled API Integration Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement APIs to enable seamless integration between various applications.

• Ensure APIs are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance, supporting real-time and batch processing requirements.

• Monitor and maintain API performance, addressing any issues related to latency, data errors, or outages.

Data Exchange and Integration:

• Facilitate efficient and reliable data exchange between internal and external applications, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.

• Build, maintain, and monitor scheduled jobs for data transfers, ensuring smooth operation of data workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map data between different systems and create solutions for data migration, transformation, and loading.

System Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

• Develop and implement monitoring processes for APIs, scheduled jobs, and data exchange workflows.

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless communication between systems.

• Perform regular audits and health checks on integration points to ensure data integrity and security.

Automation and Scheduling:

• Create and manage scheduled jobs for automated data exchange, ensuring jobs run successfully and on time.

• Optimize automation workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve process efficiency.

• Implement logging and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues with scheduled jobs or integrations.

Collaboration and Documentation:

• Work closely with application developers, database administrators, and business analysts to define integration requirements and create solutions.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all integration points, APIs, and workflows, including version control and updates.

• Communicate integration designs and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Security and Compliance:

• Ensure that all data exchanges comply with organizational and regulatory security standards.

• Implement best practices for API security, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.

• Regularly review and update security protocols to protect sensitive data during integration processes.
