Cvent's UX team strives to create seamless experiences for meeting and event planners. To achieve this, we need an experienced User Researcher who can drive user-centered design principles.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead research efforts across various product areas, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Plan and conduct evaluative research, including card sort, tree testing, usability, and heuristics evaluations.
  • Create testable hypotheses and use research findings to support, challenge, and innovate Cvent's products.
  • Apply expertise in research methodologies, human factors, user-centered design, and statistics.
  • Collaborate with design, analytics, product management, customer support, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Independently plan, execute, and analyze research projects.
  • Perform qualitative data analysis, support ongoing coding efforts, and contribute to survey design and execution.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in user experience, design, research, business, or related fields.
  • 4-19 years of conducting user research within a UX team for software/web-based products.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and experience working on enterprise software (a plus).
  • Experience with quantitative survey programming and analysis, UX research for Meeting/Event Planners, Attendees software, Mobile app or web development.
