Junior Kitchen Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Kitchen Professional to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes of assigned cuisine with authenticity and consistency.

1. Prepare and cook dishes of assigned cuisine (South Indian, Chinese, Mughlai, Awadhi) with accuracy and attention to detail.
2. Manage mise-en-place and daily food preparation with efficiency and organization.
3. Ensure portion control, plating standards, and hygiene compliance at all times.
4. Train and supervise junior staff in techniques, recipes, and kitchen safety protocols.
5. Monitor inventory and assist in requisitions as needed.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the section throughout the day.

• Assist in preparing ingredients, basic sauces, and garnishes as required.
• Cook standard menu items under guidance from senior staff.
• Ensure mise-en-place is ready for service on time.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
• Report shortages or quality issues to seniors immediately.

As a member of our junior kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting with mise-en-place and stock rotation, washing, peeling, chopping, and storing ingredients, and following instructions to learn basic cooking methods.
