IT Infrastructure Manager Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team. This is an entry-level role ideal for individuals with 2 to 3 years of experience in IT administration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, providing first-level technical support to employees, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide assistance to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of computers, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Software Installation: Assist in installing and updating software across the company's systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic IT problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Data Backup: Ensure regular data backups and contribute to the company's data security efforts.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, issues, and resolutions in a ticketing or documentation system.
  • Network Support: Assist in monitoring and maintaining the company's local area network (LAN) and internet connectivity.
  • Security Monitoring: Support basic IT security tasks, such as ensuring antivirus updates and security patches are applied.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: BSc degree (mandatory).
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in IT support or administration.
  • Basic Knowledge:
  • Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Network concepts (e.g., IP addresses, DNS, routers, switches).
  • Hardware components (e.g., computers, printers, servers).
  • Office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
