Senior Software Packager Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Packager to spearhead system integrations across multiple platforms.

This role involves designing modern packaging solutions, conducting planning and requirements analysis, providing pre- and post-implementation support, and maintenance.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans prior to software deployment.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all customizations and changes made during the packaging process.
Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate application packaging and delivery solutions with user self-service portals, automation tools, enterprise software deployment tools, software licensing tools, data export compliance, remote AVD, and remote hosted applications.
  • Provide engineering, deployment, and transition expertise for Microsoft applications and technologies or similar third-party tools that integrate Microsoft products.
  • Expertise in application packaging and deploying through Intune Management, application model, and containers is required.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience in software packaging, application development, and deployment within physical and virtual environments.
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on expertise in .NET, .BAT, .VBS, WSE, .MSI, .MST, .MSP, SQL Server, APPV, MSIX, Numecent, and similar scripting and database tools.
  • Experience with automation scripts, orchestration, and automation processes and products is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in developing scripts in PowerShell, Ansible, DSC, Python, or YAML.
  • Familiarity with tools or automate scripts/processes is desirable.
  • Experience with idempotent configuration managers, policies, and deployments is an advantage.
