Job Title: Trade Surveillance Expert

Job Overview

 

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Trade Surveillance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, economics or business, with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in surveillance or regulatory roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of equity and fixed income cash and derivatives products.
  • Stay up-to-date on market abuse regulations and potential market abuse-related scenarios.
  • Demonstrate in-depth trading/product knowledge around trading correlations, use of derivatives and hedging.
  • Work closely with front office and technology personnel to ensure effective trade surveillance monitoring systems.
  • Utilize analytical and project management skills to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Develop and deliver reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives and improve processes.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Business (or related field).
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in surveillance or regulatory roles.
  • Strong understanding of market abuse regulations and potential market abuse-related scenarios.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
