**Job Title:** Korean Language Expert

  • We are seeking a highly skilled linguist to support the development of AI models in Korean. The ideal candidate will have native or near-native proficiency in Korean and excellent English-language communication skills.

The successful applicant will craft high-quality written content, evaluate human- and AI-generated text, and contribute to projects that advance AI's understanding of language and culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing accurate, engaging, and contextually appropriate written responses in Korean for various prompts;
  • Reviewing and evaluating human- and AI-generated content for accuracy, tone, clarity, safety, and cultural alignment;
  • Providing detailed linguistic assessments, focusing on style, nuance, bias, clarity, and intent;
  • Conducting peer reviews of linguistic contributions to maintain consistency and quality;
  • Designing creative content such as prompts, role-play scenarios, games, and thought experiments to test and challenge AI capabilities;
  • Exploring cultural aspects of Korean language use, including idioms, humor, irony, and traditions.

Qualifications include:

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Korean with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation;
  • Strong English-language communication skills;
  • Demonstrated expertise in Korean writing, editing, or content creation with command over tone, style, and genre;
  • In-depth knowledge of Korean culture, idioms, humor, and societal nuances;
  • Experience in linguistics, translation, teaching, or language-related projects preferred;
  • Ability to analyze and refine text for clarity, engagement, and accuracy;
  • Willingness to complete a Korean writing skills assessment during the selection process.
