About the Role

This is a senior permanent position where you will be responsible for building and leading the Cybersecurity team from scratch. You will ensure robust governance, scalability, and long-term resilience for the organization.

  • Establish and grow the Cybersecurity team, setting up processes, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Act as the head of the Cybersecurity vertical, accountable for strategy, execution, and reporting to leadership.
  • Build a strong pipeline of security talent and mentor engineers to achieve maturity in security operations.
Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Cybersecurity Operations & Incident Response: Work with SOC and Incident Response teams to detect, investigate, and remediate security threats and incidents.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices across development and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science (Preferred) and Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering.
  • 17+ years of proven cybersecurity experience across cloud, DevSecOps, application security, and compliance.
  • Certifications: ISC2 CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect (Pro), Azure Security Engineer, CEH Master, Google Cloud Architect, ITIL.
  • Hands-on expertise in AWS/Azure security services, IAM, Terraform, Okta/AD, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
