Embedded Firmware Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded firmware development and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing firmware applications for various projects. You will work closely with engineers and technical leads to ensure that the firmware meets the required specifications and is delivered on time.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of embedded design principles, and the ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop firmware applications for various projects
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and technical leads to ensure that the firmware meets the required specifications
  • Develop and maintain firmware documentation
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging of firmware applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of firmware with other system components
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics/Instrumentation/Telecommunication/Computers Engineering
  • 5-8 years of experience in embedded firmware development
  • Strong knowledge of 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers
  • Excellent understanding of embedded design life cycle and new product development process
  • Experience with device driver development and RTOS-based systems
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming languages
