At our organization, this position is part of the Aero department responsible for growing embedded software and controls capabilities for airborne products. This role is based at an office in Magarpatta City, Pune.

The primary responsibility of this position is to design and develop DO178B/C DAL Level B/C/D/E Products conforming to required standards and customer-specific requirements.

  • Base SW Development in Aero projects involves creating high-quality embedded software applications that meet strict safety standards.
  • This role requires working closely with Aerospace product teams and other stakeholders to contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of DO178B/C software applications.
  • The ideal candidate will work directly with engineering, test, and stakeholders to create innovative solutions that solve customer problems.
  • The role involves proposing and providing technical solutions that can make a significant business impact and provide value to stakeholders.
  • Responsibilities include providing work estimates, conducting design and implementation reviews, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • This role drives innovation by focusing on new patent and high-impact ideas.
  • The successful candidate will create and sustain processes for design standards and procedures governing product design verification and validation methods and documents.
Qualifications
  • A Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in real-time embedded software design and development, preferably in the Automotive Domain or Aero space Domain.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong programming fundamentals in C, embedded system concepts, Embedded Software Architecture, and software build process.
  • Good knowledge of embedded firmware development with 16-bit/32-bit microcontrollers, including board bring-up, testing, and debugging.
  • Comfortable using lab tools like debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
  • Experience with communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, CAN, Arinc429, Arinc825.
  • Experience in boot loaders.
  • Knowledge of safety-critical embedded software development processes.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA, and Agile/SAFe methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with static analysis tools like Coverity, Polyspace.
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like VectorCast.
  • Experience with embedded real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Hands-on experience with CANalyzer/CANoe or equivalent CAN/LIN analysis tools.
  • Hands-on experience with requirements management tools like DOORS.
  • Strong stakeholder orientation, ability to meet deadlines, and self-management skills.
  • Passion for solving problems to resolution, good root cause analysis skill.
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a dynamic team environment.
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
  • Mentoring skills for new team members.
