As a seasoned ASIC design engineer, you will be at the forefront of our Soc design effort. You will lead synthesis and static timing analysis efforts for an advanced mixed signal chip.

This highly visible role offers a unique opportunity to interface with various disciplines and have a critical impact on getting functional products to market quickly.

To excel in this position, you should have thorough knowledge of the ASIC design timing closure flow and methodology. We are looking for a BTech/MTech/PhD holder with at least 6+ years hands-on experience in ASIC timing constraints generation and timing closure.

Expertise in STA tools (Tempus and Primetime) and methodologies for timing closure with a good understanding of OCV, noise and crosstalk effects on timing is essential.

Familiarity with all aspects of timing closure of high-performance, mixed-signal SoCs in advanced finFET technology nodes, preferably 7nm, is also required.

Additionally, you should have knowledge of timing corners/modes and process variations, as well as low-power techniques including clock gating, power gating and millivoltage designs.

Proficient in scripting languages (Tcl and Perl), ECO timing flow, strong communication skills, and the ability to solve complex problems independently are also necessary.

Responsibilities Include

• Full chip and block level timing closure ownership throughout the entire project cycle (RTL, synthesis, and physical implementation).

• Develop and maintain methodology and flows related to timing verification and closure.

• Generation of block and full chip timing constraints.

• Analyze timing reports and utilize scripting techniques to develop insights and drive rapid closure.
