Senior Systems Engineer - Collaboration Platforms

This is a long-term contract position with one of the largest global technology leaders.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced collaboration senior systems engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and automate business processes, participate in technical platform designs, and manage ongoing feature changes in collaboration applications.

As the collaboration systems engineer, you will oversee administration and integration of collaboration platforms. You will work closely with internal and external partners across various organizations establishing strong relationships with users to ensure efficient, secure, and practical solutions that deliver engaging productivity experiences.

  • Maintain and optimize collaboration systems including preventive and corrective maintenance capacity planning scalability.
  • Record and manage changes configurations incidents problems processes.
  • Ensure system security implement standards respond to failures performance issues.
  • Produce performance capacity availability security reports for senior management.
  • Write technical documentation collaborate on ongoing issues projects.
  • Manage vendor relationships oversee outsourced services.
  • Install configure integrate test new system components applications.
  • Maintain automation scripts enhance functionality.
  • Follow industry best practices quality assurance standards.
  • Perform maintenance upgrades minimal business impact including on-call duty.
  • Analyze systems participate in design engineering projects.
  • Configure prototypes deliver products manage solution implementation vendor performance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience as Senior Systems Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of collaboration platforms and their administration.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems and implement effective solutions.
