Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing methods to evaluate electrical products and systems
  • Lead obsolescence activities, identifying replacement components, conducting thorough testing, and releasing qualified parts with comprehensive documentation
  • Exercise end-to-end ownership: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams spanning mechanical, software, system, and process engineering (across various geographies) to design and qualify innovative engineering solutions
  • Generate creative design concepts that will evolve into detailed drawings, paving the way for successful manufacturing
  • Play an integral role in design reviews, effectively presenting designs throughout different phases of development and refinement

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, complemented by 3-5 years of experience
  • Master's degree preferred, accompanied by 1 year of relevant experience
  • Ability to adapt to US-based working hours

  • Strong foundation in electronics components, schematics, and system interconnects
  • Capacity to select and recommend components based on application and circuit requirements
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Effective project management skills
  • Superb problem-solving and analytical skills

Bonus Qualities:

  • Familiarity with part lifecycle management and change orders using PLM systems
  • Experience in electronic component obsolescence
  • Understanding of PCB and component design
  • Hands-on experience with bench-level and system-level electronics testing
  • Proficiency in AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software
