Product Development Specialist

The role involves defining product vision, creating and maintaining product roadmaps, and prioritizing product development based on need analysis and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and competition offerings.
  • Develop product strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Prioritize product requirements from various stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
  • Work with R&D and other teams to develop and launch new solar energy products or features, ensuring quality and timelines.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and sales and marketing plans, to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle.
  • Monitor product performance and market trends.
Main Areas of Focus
  • Solar inverters and their kitting for residential and commercial segments.
  • Energy battery storage systems.
  • Smart solar solutions for residential use.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with solar energy technologies and systems is preferred.
  • Strong market research and analysis skills.
  • Experience in product management is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of customer needs and experience in developing customer-centric products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable handling product demonstrations.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office for documentation and presentation.
  • Experience in marketing and switchgear without a solar background is also acceptable.
