Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting network systems to ensure optimal performance and high availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Network Operations: Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including Cisco routers, switches, F5 load balancers and Palo Alto firewalls to ensure seamless operations.
  • Issue Resolution: Respond promptly to network-related incidents and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime and service disruption.
  • Configuration Management: Configure and manage network devices to ensure secure and stable operation.
  • Security Enforcement: Implement and maintain network security policies to safeguard against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, processes and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support overall infrastructure and ensure seamless operations.
  • Upgrades & Updates: Plan and execute network upgrades, firmware updates and patches to ensure systems are secure, stable and up to date.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify issues and generate performance reports.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure network operations comply with industry standards.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:

  • Cloud Networking: Experience with cloud networking solutions and SDN technologies such as Cisco ACI.
  • Firewall Management: Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and implementing security policies.
  • Load Balancing: Proficiency in managing F5 Load Balancers for high availability and traffic distribution.
  • Network Automation: Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting using Python.
  • Routing & Switching: Strong understanding of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
  • Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with tools like SolarWinds, Nagios or Wireshark for network monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Protocols & Standards: Solid grasp of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
  • Security Best Practices: Understanding of network security principles, threat mitigation and compliance standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex network issues.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Cisco ACI DCACI or equivalent are preferred.
