Technical Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team. As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end project management of client implementations across multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of our solutions and platforms to effectively manage projects.
  • Collaborating with clients and colleagues to craft project "scope of work" plans and documentation, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Leading or facilitating planning sessions to build consensus among project team members regarding task definitions, sequencing, and interdependencies.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed project plans, providing visibility into project progress and timelines.
  • Preparing regular project reports for project status meetings, highlighting key milestones and achievements.
  • Identifying, tracking, and communicating project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Monitoring workflows and deadlines to guarantee project goals are met accurately and efficiently.
  • Serving as a liaison between clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders, including vendors, associates, and contractors.
  • Maintaining strong customer relationships through prompt, accurate, friendly, and professional interactions.
  • Ensuring project plans deliver against SLAs and KPI expectations for costs, schedules, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in project management is essential.
  • Educational background or certification in project management is desirable.
  • Proficiency in web-based project management software, such as MS Project and Jira.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Experience in the talent management industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrable evidence of effective collaboration, multitasking, and workload prioritization skills.
