Job Title: Cybersecurity Training Specialist

\

About the Role: Xcodim is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Training Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive cybersecurity training programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver hands-on lab sessions, workshops, and theoretical sessions tailored to beginners and advanced learners.\
  • Design curriculum focused on topics like network security, ethical hacking, Azure security, cloud protection, incident response, and cybersecurity fundamentals.\
  • Engage and educate learners by simplifying complex cybersecurity concepts and facilitating interactive discussions.\
  • Continuously update course materials to reflect the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity.\
  • Mentor and guide students through their learning journey and assess student performance to encourage improvement.\
  • Train students to achieve industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AZ-900, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).\
  • Educate students on building resumes, preparing for technical interviews, and navigating career transitions into cybersecurity roles.\
  • Conduct research and stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, tools, and technologies to ensure the curriculum remains relevant.\
  • Work closely with other educators to align training content with organizational goals and industry standards.\
  • Track and analyze student progress and course effectiveness using metrics and feedback.\
  • Advocate for cybersecurity awareness by conducting outreach programs, webinars, and community events.\
  • Develop strong relationships with employers and recruiters to connect students with internship and job opportunities.\
  • Foster a growth mindset among students and promote continuous learning.\
  • Provide individualized support to students and help them overcome challenges.\
  • Promote the importance of digital safety and cybersecurity awareness within the organization and the wider community.\
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies to ensure the curriculum remains relevant.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new training programs and enhance existing ones.\
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.\
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.\
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and vendors to secure resources and expertise.\

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive evaluation plan to measure the effectiveness of the training program.\
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.\
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity training, education, or a related field.\
  • Proven track record of delivering successful training programs and achieving desired outcomes.\
  • Expertise in Azure security, cloud protection, and cybersecurity fundamentals.\
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts effectively.\
  • Experience in instructional design and curriculum development.\
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Azure certifications.\
  • Experience working with diverse groups of people and creating inclusive environments.\
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.\
  • Ability to travel occasionally for industry events, conferences, and training programs.\
  • Fluency in English language.\
  • Team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.\
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.\
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes and priorities.\
