Job Title: Network Automation Engineer

The primary objective of this role is to design, implement and maintain network automation solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability and reliability.

A successful candidate will possess expertise in scripting languages such as Ansible, Python, YAML and JSON, with a strong understanding of infrastructure-based scripting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation scripts using Ansible and/or Python to streamline network operations;
  • Implement APIs and tools such as REST, OpenConfig, gNMI, Git and CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab) to improve automation efficiency;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into existing infrastructure;
  • Maintain and optimize existing automation scripts to ensure seamless operation;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in network infrastructure automation;
  • Proven track record of delivering SDLC projects on time and within budget;
  • Excellent knowledge of VXLAN, BGP, EVPN and Arista switches;
  • Experience with CloudVision Portal (CVP) and Itential;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues;

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team;
  • Strong adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment;
