Assessing Credit Worthiness

  • Our ideal candidate will have the ability to perform comprehensive credit risk evaluations of corporates, with a focus on the financial services domain, including non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), fintechs, and other corporates.
  • The successful candidate will analyze financial statements, business models, and sector-specific risks to assess the creditworthiness of potential clients.
Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced professional to conduct in-depth due diligence, including participation in business meetings with promoter/management, discussions with rating agencies, site visits, and thorough industry analysis.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for staying abreast of regulatory changes impacting the financial sector or current portfolio, such as RBI and SEBI guidelines.

This role requires collaboration with business, Risk and compliance teams for timely evaluation for credit call. The successful candidate will recommend risk mitigants tools and develop models for recurring credit development, provide live feeds, update, and approval from IC/CC members.

Additionally, the candidate will support the development of sector-specific credit frameworks and risk appetite statements, as well as understanding debt instruments/fixed income products.

Finally, the successful candidate will ensure that all activities are aligned with our organization's objectives and are in line with our risk management policies.
