About the Role:

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality financial technology solutions by working as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Determining the scope of testing required for a release based on project requirements
  • Creating a comprehensive Test Plan after discussing with team members and stakeholders
  • Developing test cases, reviewing them, and incorporating review comments
  • Analyzing user stories and use cases to ensure their validity and feasibility
  • Executing various levels of testing, including System, Integration, and Regression testing
  • Identifying and resolving defects reported by customers
  • Monitoring test progress by assessing work assigned to each team member and reallocating tasks as necessary

Requirements include:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a software tester in a reputable organization
  • Proficiency in banking domain knowledge and ability to learn digital banking concepts
  • Familiarity with STLC phases and nuances, with experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum) preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with automation tools like Selenium/Cucumber is an advantage
