Required Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant or CFA Degree or any other finance degree

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance transformation roles

• Experience in Finance process automation, ERP implementation and optimization (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

• Experience in Shared services setup and management

• Experience in Change management in finance organizations & Business process reengineering

• Stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in health-tech or technology sectors

• Proven track record of leading finance automation projects

• Experience in high-growth, fast-paced technology or health-tech companies

• Ability to drive organizational change and influence senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of end-to-end finance transformation initiatives to optimize processes and drive operational excellence.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, digitalization, and process improvement within the finance function.

• Oversee the implementation of new financial systems and technologies, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of transformation projects.

• Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to senior management on best practices in finance transformation.

• Manage change management efforts, including stakeholder communication, training, and support throughout the transformation journey.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls during all phases of transformation initiatives.

A Typical Day

As the Finance Transformation Head, your day begins by collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess current financial processes and identify areas for improvement. You'll lead strategy sessions with senior leadership, presenting innovative solutions to streamline operations and drive digital transformation. Throughout the day, you'll oversee the implementation of new financial systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards. You'll mentor and guide your team, providing expertise on best practices and change management. Regularly, you'll analyze data, monitor project milestones, and report progress to stakeholders, adapting plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes. Your role is dynamic, balancing high-level strategic planning with hands-on problem-solving, all while championing a culture of continuous improvement across the finance function.
