Job Role:

As a Mechanical Incharge, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and installation of mechanical systems at our site.

  • Plan and execute daily site activities based on project schedules and plans.
  • Manage crane planning, mobilization, and heavy material movement to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Supervise wind turbine generator (WTG) installation activities, ensuring alignment with drawings and specifications.
  • Allocate work to contractors and engineers; monitor labor, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient use.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify material readiness, safety, and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure proper execution of internal line works and survey-based layouts to meet project requirements.
  • Coordinate contractor attendance, skill card verification, and toolbox talks to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support customer inspections and ensure timely sign-off of milestones, including wind turbine commissioning (WCC).
  • Resolve any execution or commissioning queries through cross-functional coordination with team members.

Techncial Oversight:

  • Approve crane movement routes and ensure lift planning is in place to prevent accidents.
  • Validate the fitness of lifting tools, jigs, and fixtures to ensure they are in good condition.
  • Lead the establishment and operation of site repair facilities to minimize downtime.

You should have relevant experience in wind project execution and be willing to work across India.
