System Administrator Position

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to manage our Linux environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, as well as strong knowledge of Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cluster Management: Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
  • Perform regular upgrades and patching of OCP environments.
  • Manage system resources and optimize performance.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the complete end-to-end project management, installation, re-installation, configuration, re-configuration, implementation, integration, monitoring, patch management, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • L3 support for incidents and problems related to OpenShift.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of OCP clusters.
  • Implement best practices for resource allocation and management.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks and deployments.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of the OCP environment and processes.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations.
  • 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
