About the Role

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevSecOps professional to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal part in the implementation of security recommendations, while supporting sales, compliance, and delivery in the context of audits and RFPs.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud technologies, including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. They will also be proficient in Linux systems management, CI/CD tools, and application monitoring tools such as Datadog and Prometheus.

Additionally, this individual will require solid experience with programming languages, including Python, Ruby, Bash, and Java. Experience working in agile environments, continuous integration/deployment, and microservice/SOA architecture is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Propose and implement advanced cloud architectures in alignment with key cloud providers
  • Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure
  • Support the continuous evolution of the client's infrastructure as code approach
  • Ensure no single points of failure in the infrastructure
  • Continuously improve efficiency when setting up new cloud infrastructure and maintaining existing instances
  • Build the bridge between Security and DevOps teams
  • Play a pivotal part in the implementation of security recommendations
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with Linux systems management
  • Proven experience in Kubernetes
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, BitBucket, or Stash
  • Experience with CI and CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar)
  • Solid experience with at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, Node.js, PHP)
  • Experience with application and system monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana)
  • Experience in configuration, management, and troubleshooting of web servers (Apache, NGINX), database systems (SQL and NoSQL), caching (Cassandra, Redis, Memcache or others), and queues (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ or similar)
  • Experience working as a DevSecOps or Cloud Engineer in an agile and fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a continuous integration/deploy environment
  • Experience with AWS
  • Automation experience in the context of a microservice/SOA architecture
