About the Role

We are seeking an experienced VFX Supervisor to join our team as a Remote Mentor.

  • Provide Houdini Software Training for Film and Advertising needs, from basic to advanced in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Priority is given to provide teaching on RBD Fracture Simulation, Cloth Simulation, Water Simulation, Fire Simulation, Crowd Simulation, Grain Simulation and Plant Instance Simulation.
  • Teach the right way to create the convincing Lookdev results for Clients.
  • Able to provide solutions for integration from Houdini to Autodesk Maya and Blender or vice versa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective and efficient teaching to in-house VFX Artists to enhance individual skills.
  • Provide insight into the experience as a VFX Artist in the world of global cinema.
  • Develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of our team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a VFX Supervisor for film, animation or TV series.
  • In-depth knowledge of compositing principles (Nuke preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of the Blender workflow is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering techniques in Maya or Houdini.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Artistic skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm and creativity.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
