About the Role

Job Description

As a seasoned Tech Lead, you'll be responsible for leading backend architecture and development, guiding a team of engineers, and delivering high-performance applications. You'll work on integrations, custom solutions, and platforms like Magento, WordPress, and Shopify, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

  • Lead Backend Development: Utilize Laravel and modern PHP frameworks to create scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
  • Architect Scalable Systems: Design and implement efficient system integrations via REST APIs, GraphQL, EDI, and third-party services.
  • Manage Integrations: Oversee projects involving Magento, WordPress, Shopify, and related stacks, ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization.
  • Code Reviews and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and implement best practices to ensure high-quality code and effective documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Backend Development Experience: 5-7 years of experience in PHP, with deep expertise in Laravel.
  • Magento, WordPress, and Shopify Experience: Proven experience working with these platforms, including system integrations and custom solutions.
  • APIs, EDI, and Webhooks: Strong background in system integrations using APIs (REST, GraphQL), EDI, and webhooks.
  • CLOUD Platforms: Proficiency in cloud platforms, especially AWS, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and version control (Git).
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent team collaboration skills.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to handle multiple clients and work in a small company environment.
