Financial Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to handle end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and compliance for US-based clients.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US GAAP, QuickBooks, and international accounting practices.

The role involves managing day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for multiple US clients, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per US GAAP, and performing reconciliations of bank accounts and inter-company balances.

The successful candidate will also assist with US tax filings, sales tax returns, and payroll processing, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards and client-specific requirements.

Key responsibilities include working closely with US-based clients to understand their accounting needs, providing timely updates, reports, and financial insights, and handling queries and resolving issues related to accounting, reporting, or compliance.

Required skills and qualifications include B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CPA (US) / ACCA or equivalent, 2–4 years in US Accounting / Outsourcing / KPO industry, and proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for multiple US clients.
  • Record journal entries, general ledger adjustments, and ensure timely posting of transactions.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per US GAAP.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company balances.
  • Support preparation of management reports and financial dashboards for clients.
  • Assist with US tax filings, sales tax returns, and payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and client-specific requirements.
  • Liaise with external tax consultants and auditors when required.
  • Work closely with US-based clients to understand their accounting needs.
  • Provide timely updates, reports, and financial insights to clients.
  • Handle queries and resolve issues related to accounting, reporting, or compliance.
