The role of a Specialist Consultant is to provide expert advice and guidance on complex business issues.

Job Description

This position requires an individual who possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse asset-related data to identify gaps and poor data quality, and develop strategies to address these issues
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their asset lifecycle management processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to implement fixes and ensure compliance with ITAM controls
  • Lead workstreams to expand, strengthen or streamline the ITAM control
  • Respond to audits and participate in audit requests
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with users, peers and management at all levels
  • Proven experience in writing SQL queries for data analysis and investigation
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, and experience with VBA
  • Familiarity with Service Management Principles, Configuration Management, Asset & Inventory Management and Change Management
