Job Title: Wind Energy Upgrade Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to play a vital role in the success of our wind energy business.

This position requires a key member of our global cross-functional team to simulate site-specific benefits of our upgrade portfolio while verifying the structural integrity of installed wind turbines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reassess existing/planned wind farms using internal tool chains to confirm compatibility and structural integrity of upgrades.
  • Evaluate site-specific wind conditions, apply mechanical load mitigation strategies, and run bucket approaches.
  • Create benefit calculations and drive validation campaigns to support upgrades sales.
  • Collaborate with service regions and after-sales colleagues to convince customers and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to measurable business performance growth in the global Service business unit.
  • Develop a comprehensive network within the company and industry to stay up-to-date on new technological developments.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Engineering or Business/Economics with a strong technical background.
  • 5-10 years of experience in wind & site assessments, mechanical loads department, or equal technical service organisations in the wind energy industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, holistic approach, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven, focused, and pragmatic with demonstrated ability to bring topics to success in complex environments.
