Job Description:

The successful candidate will oversee the Aero lab across multiple sites, coordinating test solutions and equipment to guarantee calibration and certification. Working closely with teams across Aero, the Eng Supply Specialist II will review electrical and mechanical needs for various test setups, aligning with product specifications.

The Electronic Test team is responsible for electronic test activities on avionics engineering programs. This role will collaborate with teams to review requirements and ensure effective test bench deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and updating laboratory layouts, exploring opportunities for space optimization.
  • Developing detailed plans for electrical and mechanical requirements of laboratories across HTS sites.
  • Cable fabrication, soldering, and handling of laboratory equipment, adhering to ESD protocols and IPC-A-610 certification.
  • Electrical and mechanical integration knowledge, as well as proficiency in working with users to understand test solution needs.
  • Mapping competitive landscapes, benchmarking design trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in laboratory management, equipment calibration, testing, and maintenance.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Hands-on experience in team coordination for laboratory upgrades and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of cable harnesses and connectors (DSUB, Circular).
  • Understanding of laboratory equipment, functions, and input requirements.
  • Lab electrical, Mechanical, and cooling requirements.
  • Go-getter attitude and ability to navigate complex business scenarios.
  • Experience with prior hands-on work on test solutions.
