Technical Desktop Support Specialist

This position is ideal for a skilled individual who can provide technical assistance and support to employees across various departments. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and administrative issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, and escalating complex problems to senior support technicians.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the senior help desk lead and collaborate on project initiatives. They will be responsible for testing and evaluating new technologies, logging and tracking issues in a ticketing system, and providing timely customer feedback.
To succeed in this role, applicants should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. A certification in a related field, such as Microsoft or A+, is preferred but not required. Prior experience working in a help desk environment and proficiency with Windows, MAC, and iOS environments are essential.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic computer technical issues.
- Install and configure hardware and software.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to support business needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Maintain accurate records of tickets and incidents.
