Enterprise Network Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled LAN Security Engineer with strong experience in designing, implementing, managing and troubleshooting secure enterprise networks while ensuring compliance with security policies.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering secure network solutions through collaboration with infrastructure, security and application teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Firewall Security (PALO ALTO)
    • Design, deploy and manage Palo Alto Firewalls including security policies, threat prevention and URL filtering.
    • Maintain and optimize firewall rulesets to ensure both security and network performance.
    • Monitor logs and alerts, investigate incidents and troubleshoot firewall-related issues.
    • Plan and execute firmware upgrades, high-availability setups and DR testing.
  • Switching Management (CISCO)
    • Configure, manage and troubleshoot enterprise switching infrastructure.
    • Implement VLANs, STP, VTP, Ether Channel, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, QoS and ACLs.
    • Handle advanced L3 routing on switches.
    • Perform network segmentation, redundancy and high-availability design.
  • Collaboration & Documentation
    • Work closely with teams to deliver secure network solutions.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Palo Alto Firewalls: Security profiles, NAT, VPNs and Panorama management.
  • Strong understanding of Networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP).
  • Identity & Access Management.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of enterprise network experience with at least 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network security and team management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
