Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding position that involves designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Design and Implementation: Analyze, architect, design, configure, install, and manage enterprise network and network equipment.
  • Technical Administration: Engage in technical administration of Cisco network equipment including routers, switches, access points, and controllers.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network equipment. Resolve complex issues involving a wide range of technologies.
  • Collaboration and Mentorship: Assist other teams with installing and configuring Cisco Voice Gateways, Integrated Services Routers (ISRs), Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) routers, analog gateways, and any other infrastructure equipment. Mentor junior network engineers.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure network meets compliance standards, including PCI and HIPAA.
  • On-Call Support: Provide on-call support required to bring production systems to operational states.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
  • Cisco Experience: Minimum eight (8) years of experience with Cisco routers/switches/routing protocols and other network equipment.
  • Cisco Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional certification required. Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SD-WAN and SDN: Experience with SD-WAN, preferred. Experience with SDN preferred.
  • Cloud and Virtualization: Experience or knowledge of networking in a VMware and/or Docker and/or AWS environment, preferred.
  • IaC and NaC: Experience or knowledge of IaC and/or NaC, preferred.
  • Programming Skills: Experience or knowledge of Python and Ansible.
