Network Administrator Role Overview

This role involves overseeing the operation, maintenance and monitoring of network infrastructure.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all wireless, routing, and switching infrastructure is functioning as expected.
  • Maintain the performance and efficiency of the enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues as needed and collaborate with vendors to resolve problems and implement solutions.

Additionally, this role requires experience in managing/supervising network support teams and conceptual knowledge of network routing, switching, wireless, and security.

Hands-on experience with Cisco Routing/Switching/Wireless hardware platforms is also a must.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work independently in a team environment.

A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Additional Cisco certifications are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee daily operations of network infrastructure.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal network performance.
  3. Collaborate with vendors to identify and resolve technical issues.
  4. Document and maintain network inventory and MIS reports.
