Visual Audit Specialist

This team plays a pivotal role in enhancing automation at our fulfillment centers.

We serve internal technology and robotics teams by facilitating automation, which includes real-time and offline data auditing services. A key contribution of this team is supporting the fulfillment centers in maintaining inventory accuracy.

A Visual Audit Specialist in this role is required to thoroughly review video footage of stowing actions at a fulfillment center, exercise sound judgment in combination with tools and resources to accurately identify product locations. They are expected to verify or mark the location of products through a tool while maintaining the highest level of accuracy. This process helps in maintaining the fulfillment center's stow quality.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Watching several hundred videos in a shift and providing accurate responses within set goals for accuracy, speed, and adherence to best practices.
  • Ensuring 6.8 to 7 hours' time per day is spent reviewing videos and taking breaks as scheduled.
  • Maintaining a dedicated workspace and ensuring only authorized personnel have access to it when working from home.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • Willingness to work in a non-tech role for a contract duration of 6 months.
  • Ability to audit image/video/text-based jobs with high attention to detail and focus on screen.
  • Capability to identify details from blurry videos and provide correct responses.
  • Flexibility to adapt to incremental targets/goals on quality and productivity.
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts), remote teams, and maintain exceptional teamwork skills.
  • Readiness to attend virtual meetings with camera turned on.

Working Hours & Benefits

Associates work in a 24x7 environment with rotational shifts. The shift timings would be subject to change every 3-4 months or as per business requirement. In case the associate is working in a night shift, a night shift allowance will be provided as per Amazon's work policy.

Weekly Offs: Rotational two-consecutive day off (a 5-day working week with 2 consecutive days off, not necessarily Saturday and Sunday) or as per business discretion.

Our Team

Data Auditing Operations team provides human support to our fulfillment facilities with the goal of enabling hands-free active stowing through visual audits on videos/images. Videos with brief duration are sent to the operations team for humans to audit them with information on products being stored at our fulfillment centers. For business use, these videos must be thoroughly reviewed and audited using best human judgement. The effectiveness of automated process will be increased by using videos that associates have audited. This process helps maintaining stow quality at our fulfillment center and associates will be further evaluated for performance improvements/coaching.
