ROLE PURPOSE


We are looking for a web designer with a vision to develop & maintain a distinct and ownable digital visual identity for Pine Labs. This will require a mindset to converge our current set of fragmented product identities into a coherent visual system that seamlessly extends cross all our digital platforms and interactive surfaces, setting a new global benchmark in design and interactivity.


You'll need to work closely with many cross-functional teams to bring your vision to life and keep it updated.


THE RESPONSIBILTIES WE ENTRUST YOU WITH


1. Create a cohesive digital visual system for Pine Labs that integrates seamlessly across all digital platforms, consolidating fragmented product identities into a singular, distinctive aesthetic.


2. Optimise website designs for responsiveness, performance, and accessibility across various devices and platforms.


3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, marketers, and project managers to ensure design integrity throughout the development process.


4. Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas.


5. Stay updated on current trends and best practices in web design and bring those in your design.


WHAT MATTERS IN THIS ROLE


Experience & Portfolio

- 5+ years of experience in the field of web design.

- A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in web design.


Technical Skills & Efficiency

- Proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator,

Rive, and After Effects to create mock-ups, wireframes, and prototypes.

- Experience and proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web design languages and frameworks.

- Ability to work independently and deliver projects on time and within budget.

- Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver


Communication & Ownership

- Exceptional communication skills to articulate design ideas and collaborate effectively with stakeholders

- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for creating impactful design



THINGS YOU SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE WITH


Working from office : As of now, we work out of our Koramangla office, 3 days a week. The office is a stone throw away from Bob’s bar and many other eateries. If you are open to trying new cuisines while jamming with a fun creative team on the walk back, we are looking for you.


Pushing the boundaries : Have a big idea? See something that you feel we should do but haven’t done? We will hustle hard to make it happen. We encourage out of the box thinking, and if you bring that with you, we will make sure you get a bag that fits all the energy you bring along.


Travel : Should be open to traveling within India for projects related to work for e.g. shoots, workshops.
