Job Summary


We are seeking a “Digital Transformation and Technology Implementation Manager” with

extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing innovative technology

solutions to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate

should be well-versed in advanced technology solutions for retail, loyalty, and logistics

environments, including mobile application development, experiential technology, and

business process optimization. This role will be instrumental in driving new digital initiatives,

optimizing infrastructure, and ensuring seamless vendor collaboration.


Key Responsibilities


1. New Technology Implementation

This role requires hands-on experience with advanced technology systems that cater to both

customer experience and operational efficiency in a retail or e-commerce environment. The

ideal candidate will oversee the implementation of the following technologies:

 Loyalty and Wallet Programs

- Lead the development of digital loyalty programs, with a focus on rewards

redemption to enhance customer engagement and retention.

- Utilize wallet technology for convenient customer payment solutions that integrate

seamlessly with rewards and promotional activities.

 Pay-and-Park Systems

- Leverage Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and FastTag technology to

implement a streamlined pay-and-park system.

- Optimize customer entry and exit flows while integrating payment processing to

improve parking experience for customers.

 Experiential Technology Projects

- Spearhead initiatives in “Customer Self-Checkout” to reduce wait times and

improve the overall shopping experience.

- Implement “Video-Based Store Analytics” for real-time customer behaviour

insights, including shopping patterns, dwell time, and product engagement to inform

decision-making and marketing strategies.

- Lead “Automatic Stock Replenishment” projects to ensure timely restocking based

on predictive analytics, thereby minimizing stock-outs and maximizing sales.

2. Mobile Application Development

In this role, you will collaborate with development teams to create and enhance mobile

applications that facilitate customer engagement, internal reporting, and logistics efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

 Sales Reporting App

- Guide the development team to build a robust sales reporting mobile application,

enabling real-time access to sales data and analytics for store managers and regional

teams.

 Customer Delivery App with Real-Time Geo Tracking

- Develop a user-friendly mobile application for customers to track deliveries in real-time,

enhancing the delivery experience and reducing customer queries.

 Integration with Dark Warehouses

- Enable seamless integration with third-party dark warehouses, such as Zepto and Bliknit,

to optimize product availability and expedite customer order fulfillment.

 Customer-Facing Application Design

- Conceptualize and create a customer-facing app that integrates e-commerce features,

loyalty rewards, and personalized recommendations to boost engagement and customer

satisfaction.

3. Infrastructure and Network Planning

The Technology Implementation Manager must be well-versed in the infrastructure

requirements to support a digitally transformed retail environment. Key responsibilities

include:

 Infrastructure Setup and Maintenance

- Plan and manage the necessary hardware, software, and network infrastructure to

support new technology implementations, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal

performance.

 Network Security and Scalability

- Ensure secure connectivity and data exchange across all retail locations, customer

platforms, and vendor portals.

- Anticipate scalability needs for technology solutions to accommodate business

growth, increased customer demand, and evolving digital solutions.

4. Business Process Optimization

This role emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement and optimization of

business processes. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve

the following:

 Business Process Analysis

- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes to identify inefficiencies,

bottlenecks, and areas for digital transformation.

 Automation and Transformation

- Implement automation solutions to streamline manual processes, increase

productivity, and reduce operational costs.

- Develop and execute a digital transformation roadmap to improve overall

customer experience, reduce operational friction, and support business growth.


5. Vendor Portal Management

Effective vendor management is crucial for streamlining supply chain operations. The

Technology Implementation Manager will oversee the development and management of a

secure and efficient vendor portal:

 Portal Development and Management

- Develop and implement a vendor portal for secure and streamlined

communication, data exchange, and order tracking with suppliers.

 Secure Data Exchange

- Ensure that data sharing with vendors adheres to security and privacy standards,

protecting sensitive business and customer information.

 Collaboration and Issue Resolution

- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor portal-related queries,

enhancements, and troubleshooting, fostering strong relationships with suppliers.




Required Skills and Qualifications

 Educational Background

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or

a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

 Technical Expertise

- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in technology implementation and digital

transformation, preferably in the retail or e-commerce sectors.

- Proven track record in implementing loyalty and wallet programs, digital payment

solutions, ANPR, FastTag, and customer-centric mobile applications.

- Strong understanding of infrastructure requirements for a technology-driven retail

or e-commerce environment.

 Project Management Skills

- Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale technology implementation

projects with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously,

and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals.

 Analytical and Strategic Thinking

- Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose

innovative solutions to improve efficiency and enhance customer experience.

 Vendor and Stakeholder Management

- Proficient in managing vendor relationships and coordinating with cross-functional

stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions.

 Communication Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey

technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and foster collaboration across

teams.


Preferred Skills

- Experience with third-party logistics integrations, particularly dark warehouse

partnerships.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working with remote development

teams.

- Certifications in project management (PMP, Agile) or technology-specific certifications

(AWS, Azure, etc.) are an added advantage.
