About Our Client

Our client is a premier MNC in the renewable space who is looking for hiring people in the techno-commercial department for asset evaluation and risk management

Job Description

Reporting into the Global Chief of Engineering & Technical Risk, you will be responsible for-

Specialising in assessing technical, operational, construction and development risks in the energy industry and for the deal / project under review for investment by Finance team Assisting and supporting he efforts of finance team underwriting and portfolio groups in identification and mitigation of risks and in execution of investment objectives also performing techno-commercial due diligence for both underwriting and portfolio holdings Reviewing and instructively comment on technical and construction specifications as outlined in key project documents such as interconnection, power off-take, permits, land agreements, and equipment, construction, operations and maintenance contracts, in some cases even leading / supporting the negotiations of these documents Ensuring that technical and business-related issues are communicated with finance team and providing techno-commercial risk assessments for credit requests with suitable mitigation measures Assigning projects under construction, develop and supervise construction management teams and ensure construction safety, environmental compliance, cost and schedule performance. Provide internal reporting on construction status

The Successful Applicant

An ideal candidate will be a full time engineer and an MBA with 8-10+ years of experience. He/she should have in-depth knowledge of project management and assets in the renewable space alongside this the person should be techno-commercial with detailed understanding of risk identification, evaluation, management. He/she should be well versed with the asset management, evaluation and project appraisal as well. You should have strong stakeholder management skills and would possess strong vision towards growth and profitability of the business. You should have hands on experience in managing a team and have impeccable communication skills to manage the global as well as domestic stakeholders
