Job Title: Workflow Automation DeveloperWe are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Contract Automation Developer to manage business process automation.Design modern workflows using Power Automate and Python programming languages.Maintain and optimize legacy VBA macros for seamless integration with current business needs.The ideal candidate should navigate between local Excel automation and cloud-based API integrations, driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Modern Cloud Automation: Design automated workflows using Power Automate to orchestrate data across SharePoint, Teams, and external applications, ensuring smooth information exchange and scalability.Legacy Macro Support: Audit, debug, and enhance existing VBA macros to guarantee stability and compatibility with current business requirements.Advanced Scripting: Develop Python scripts for heavy data processing (ETL) and complex logic that surpasses the capabilities of VBA or standard Power Automate actions.Hybrid Integration: Create bridge solutions where local VBA events trigger Cloud Flows, or where Python scripts process data outputs from Excel macros, fostering seamless collaboration and efficient data management.Migration Strategy: Identify opportunities to refactor unstable or slow VBA code into more robust Python scripts or Power Automate flows, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.Error Handling: Implement comprehensive error trapping across all three platforms (VBA On Error, Python try/except, Flow Configure Run After), ensuring reliable and resilient automation processes.
