The ideal candidate should be excellent in vendor management, negotiation, pricing, and procurement operations. Fluency in English, Kannada, and Hindi is mandatory for coordinating with vendors and clients across India. Key Responsibilities 1. Vendor Sourcing & Development • Source suppliers for promotional products, merchandise, printing, packaging, and gifting items. • Identify new vendors from Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, and other major gifting markets. • Maintain a strong vendor database for all product categories. 2. Negotiation & Pricing • Obtain best pricing, quality, and timelines from vendors. • Prepare comparison sheets for rates, MOQs, and delivery timelines. • Negotiate margins, bulk rates, and credit terms. 3. Purchase Order Management • Create and issue purchase orders. • Ensure product specifications, branding requirements, and quantities are accurate. • Track order status until delivery and resolve issues proactively. 4. Product Sampling & Quality Checks • Coordinate product samples for internal approval or client approval. • Perform basic quality checks before dispatch. 5. Coordination & Communication • Coordinate with Sales, Production, and Warehouse teams. • Follow up with vendors daily for timelines and approvals. • Ensure timely delivery of materials based on client deadlines. 6. Market & Trend Research • Stay updated with trending corporate gifts, new product innovations, and popular promotional items. • Suggest new products and options for client pitches. Skills & Requirements • Mandatory: Ability to speak English, Kannada, and Hindi fluently. • Strong negotiation and vendor relation skills. • Experience in corporate gifting / promotional products sourcing is a must. • Knowledge of printing techniques (screen print, UV, engraving, sublimation) is an added advantage. • Working knowledge of Excel, WhatsApp Business, and basic ERP tools. • Good understanding of promotional product materials, pricing, and customization. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Preferred Background • Experience working in a corporate gifting company, promotional products company, printing company, or merchandising firm. • Candidates with vendor networks in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, or gifting hubs preferred.
