The Role

Having a knack for fashion & trends is the key to this role. You will be responsible to ensure that all garments managed by the product/production team are of the correct fit, look, style and quality.


Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • To control and maintain consistency in fit and look, to ensure quality standards are consistent with company's required parameters
  • To maintain the approved block for each style to ensure consistency in fit
  • To measure all samples within areas of responsibility for fit, and production against size specifications to ensure the desired fit is achieved in a timely manner
  • To check construction, fit, style details to original sample
  • To fine tune garment construction process to upgrade product durability
  • To continually strive to upgrade the product without affecting the value
  • To communicate corrections, modifications, approvals of samples to the vendor within the timeline and action schedule deadlines
  • Create fit sketches to aid the vendor in correcting fit issues
  • Trials of styles on mannequins and live model to achieve fits tailor-made for customers
  • To identify and analyse problems, make sound recommendations and take appropriate action. Follow-up to ensure all production details and specifications are being respected (i.e. corrections made to production)

DESIRED PERSONALITY:

  • Good understanding of pattern making, the candidate should have at least 3 years of academic schooling in pattern making
  • Knowledge to use Illustrator program, drawings to help explaining fitting issues
  • Good verbal & written communication skill
  • Self-Starter & ready to go the extra mile
  • Flexible & open for new challenges


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Anyone with minimum 2 to maximum 4 years of total experience in a similar role can apply
  • Should be a graduate
