Assistant Manager Finacne - GRITCH Cluster


Job Location: Corporate Office, Ahmedabad


Reporting to Country Controller – GRITCH Cluster


Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing and executing accounting work of Switzerland entity in all respect.
  • Assisting the controller in all aspects of finance for GRITCH Cluster (Greece, Italy & Switzerland)
  • Assisting the controller for the annual planning and budgeting processes across the P&L, balance sheet, capex, cashflow and headcount. This will include establishing assumptions, spreadsheet modelling, analysis and presentation to key stakeholders in the local business, Regional Finance and Headquarters
  • Assisting the controller in quarterly rolling forecast process across the P&L, balance sheet, capex, cashflow and headcount
  • Manage and oversee weekly /monthly reporting cycles, producing timely, accurate and insightful reporting
  • Responsible for all financial accounting, treasury and working capital management ensuring timely financial closing, accurate closing and account reconciliations.
  • Provide monthly reconciliation of statutory accounts and management accounts.
  • Ensure the adherence to Group accounting policies and accounting manual.
  • Working closely with regional EU finance team and Intas global finance team as required.


Relevant Professional / Educational Background, Skills & Experience:

  • A qualified CA / master’s degree in commerce with a strong academic profile
  • Minimum 2 years’ post qualification experience in a multi-national manufacturing company (preferably pharmaceutical or FMCG industry)
  • Experience in accounting and management reporting software (SAP, Hyperion, Cognos etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong cultural awareness ensuring an ability to work with global colleagues
  • Capable of working on own initiative
  • Team player demonstrating maximum flexibility as required to complete key tasks
  • Flexible and thrive in fast paced, changing environment.
  • Commercial outlook and ability to understand business priorities and challenges.
