We are seeking an accomplished Data Strategy Leader to spearhead our data initiatives in India. As a strategic and operational leader, you will oversee Senior Analysts across APAC and collaborate with global teams to drive business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish regional standards for semantic models and unified data definitions, driving data consistency across multiple markets.Deploy AI capabilities and ensure seamless data governance, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.Mentor and guide the implementation of Business Intelligence solutions, leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies.Requirements7+ years of experience in data strategy, analytics, BI, or data product roles, including recent people management.Demonstrable expertise within General Insurance data domains.Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (Premium, XMLA, ALM, optimization, governance), with hands-on experience delivering AI applications (RAG, embeddings, LLM prototyping).Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Snowflake and/or AWS Redshift, plus ETL/ELT tooling such as Informatica.Strong background in semantic model design and unified enterprise data models, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Hands-on experience implementing data catalog and lineage platforms, with a strong understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality.Excellent ability to engage senior executives internationally, with a proven track record of success.
