Executive - 3P Contract Manufacturing


The position shall ensure the delivery of products from the third party(3P) copackers and shall also be responsible for NPD projects ensuring new product launches and thereafter their continuous supply as per planned timelines on desired cost.


  • Performance assessment and communication for the handled 3P units.
  • Ensuring delivery of product as per plan shared by Planning Function.
  • Timely & smooth execution of supplies while coordinating with the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review Safety, Health, Hygiene and other Food Safety compliances for the handled units & develop standardized Infrastructure and Processes for the 3P.
  • Ensure closure all non–compliances observed during audits within the stipulated time frame at all 3P sites (HACCP and Food safety audits).
  • Lead the 3rd party vendor selection for existing and new products as per business plans.
  • Ensuring supply agreements in place, their extension and amendments required for compliances
  • Cost negotiations with 3P along with Commercial Function ensuring adherence to the budgetary numbers. Training of Work force and driving company initiatives at the 3P sites.
  • Driving company initiatives at the 3P sites. Regularly scan the environment for new potential sites.

  • Commercial/Finance teams, Quality function and R&D


Strategic responsibilities –

  • Monitor and review operations at 3P sites, maintain high level of process adherence as per organizational guidelines to ensure smooth contract manufacturing operations as per the budgeted sales plan.
  • Developing the new 3Ps: Identify the right 3P fit for the product and ensure they meet the expectations of the organization.
  • Ensuring avoidance of SLOB inventory in system


Operational responsibilities -

  • Ensuring adherence of day wise production schedule at 3P units in alignment with stock requirements at CFAs/warehouses.
  • SAP vs PHY Stock reconciliation, cost analysis, Inventory Management and submission of delivery schedule.

  • Business knowledge about the FMCG industry manufacturing and supply chain processes.
  • Commercial orientation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and Negotiation Skills


Qualifications:

B. Tech. /PGDM along with 4-6 yrs of relevant exp.
