This role acts serves as an intermediary between the production team, suppliers, and the merchandising department to streamline production and meet business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Production Planning & Coordination:Collaborate with design, merchandising, and production teams to plan production schedules.Monitor order status and ensure timelines are met.Coordinate raw material procurement and availability to avoid production delays.Vendor & Supplier Management:Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of materials.Conduct regular follow-ups and maintain strong vendor relationships.Evaluate vendor performance for quality, cost, and timeliness.Quality & Compliance:Ensure products meet company quality standards and specifications.Conduct inspections and resolve production issues promptly.Maintain records of production samples, approvals, and quality checks.Cost & Inventory Control:Track production costs and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.Reporting & Documentation:Prepare and submit regular production reports to management.Maintain documentation related to production schedules, orders, and approvals.Key Skills & Competencies:Strong organizational and time-management skills.Good understanding of garment/textile/fashion production processes.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Business, or related field.5 years of experience in production merchandising or related.Experience working with suppliers, vendors, and production teams.
